The Community Economic Development Department of Glooscap Ventures purpose is to provide business resources and advisory services for members of Glooscap First Nation. This includes new business start ups and expanding existing businesses.

Our Projects
High Speed Internet
High speed internet has arrived in Glooscap First Nation and the surrounding area for the first time. This allows community owned and privately owned businesses to advance with the times, allows for better online access for students, and improves entertainment.
Glooscap Community Radio
In 2020 Glooscap First Nation launched its first community radio station - GCR. GCR broadcasts local Indigenous music, news, and information to the Glooscap community members. The station is operated and funded through the community development department and can be found here: www.glooscapradio.com.
