High Speed Internet

High speed internet has arrived in Glooscap First Nation and the surrounding area for the first time. This allows community owned and privately owned businesses to advance with the times, allows for better online access for students, and improves entertainment.

Glooscap Community Radio

In 2020 Glooscap First Nation launched its first community radio station - GCR. GCR broadcasts local Indigenous music, news, and information to the Glooscap community members. The station is operated and funded through the community development department and can be found here: www.glooscapradio.com.

Glooscap Artisans Gift Shop

Working with our artisans, Glooscap Ventures will set up and operate a gift shop on Glooscap Landing that will offer artwork and crafts from our community members. This will be located within the Sweetgrass Convenience store in 2022 but will be moved to a new home in the future. There is no cost for community members to sell their wares. Contact us for more information.
